• Capital funding to build new schools in new development. No Development charges on new homes.

• Our schools are community hubs. Keep them open and affordable for Community use on the weekends and evenings. 

• Smaller class sizes in every grade. More teachers and support staff for excellence and equity.

• Strong and well funded special Education programs.

• Improved Curriculum:  more Canadian history, art and music. Focus on critical thinking and eliminate streaming and standardized testing like EQAO.

• More outdoor education, student nutrition programs, lunch room supervisors and education assistants.

• Increased funding for Adult education and ESL programs.

• Improved curriculum for our diverse students community: culture, art, music and environmental studies.

• Provide Punjabi and other languages as an elective subject option, where number warrants.

• One universal, secular and quality public school system open to all.

• Remove education from property tax to cut taxes by 50%

• No school closures without genuine community consultations.

• Voting rights in municipal and school board elections for Permant Residents
